Lucas and I have been on a Dunkin' Donuts kick lately. Every time we go into town, we gravitate towards that orange and pink sign and succumb to the craving for sweet pastries and hot cocoa. After making our purchases, we've been lucky enough these last few visits to get the same spot in two comfy chairs next to the window. Once we've gotten situated and the cocoa has cooled enough to drink, Lucas lifts his cup towards mine, "clinks" it and says, "Cheers!" And for a few moments, we enjoy sitting in slow motion, eating our donuts and drinking our cocoa, while the world just spins by and we don't have a care in the world.
