Us is a mother
and a young boy
just starting out in the world,
getting his feet off the ground
while his mother tries to slow hers down.
We laugh, we love.
We make fools of ourselves
and we tell everyone all
about it.
We try new things,
we stubbornly stay sheltered
and most of all...we wonder.
And then we wander...
