Happy Birthday to Lucas! It was 6 years ago today that I was laying in a hospital bed, snoozing, while the doctors surgically removed you from my womb. I went to sleep pregnant and miserable and woke up...a mom! Crazy how things happen. :)
And happen they did! In the beginning it was so much work - changing diapers, burping, feeding, freaking out when you sneezed, carting you in and out of the car for appointments, replacing sippie cups, figuring out how to shower and keep you occupied at the same time and finally just giving up and blaming my "unshowered" smell on a dirty diaper. LOL. Now after 6 years, you are just as precious as the day you were born. Only now, there's a lot less work but a lot more talking. Hmmm...
